About Grace
Grace of Cakes is actually the cake baking/decorating venture of Grace Nguyen. Grace started baking cookies and cakes in high school, but it wasn't until 2003 where the adventure into cake baking and decorating began. Friends started asking for cakes for their weddings and birthdays and it just grew from there. This is a part time business venture as Grace is a high school counselor by day.
Grace makes cakes and frosting all from scratch. Quality ingredients are used because Grace believes that a cake shouldn't just look good, it should also taste good. Fondant is primarily used to decorate cakes as it is a wonderful medium to make elaborate designs and decorations. Grace has made cakes for weddings, birthday parties, baby showers, bridal showers and other random events. Sculpted cakes are always a challenge, but a fun one. Grace has also been making cake balls, cupcakes, and cookies. Lots of experimentation happening in the Grace of Cakes kitchen! Now you can find some of Grace's vegan treats at Seabirds Kitchen in the Lab Anti-mall in Costa Mesa, CA.
Ordering and Deliveries
Grace of Cakes serves the Orange County, California area. Los Angeles and Riverside County are also possibilities, but please inquire first. Cookies can be shipped with extra charge for shipping. Cakes cannot be shipped.
Cakes will be delivered to your event with a minimum delivery fee of $10 depending on location and proximity. If outside the Orange County, delivery fee will depend on distance. If you would like to pick up your order, please contact me regarding pick up location.
Please give at least 3 weeks notice for cake orders and at least 1 week notice for cake ball and cookie orders. This is a part time business, so scheduling and booking orders is based on availability.
